For entrance, general home or office doors.

Deadlocking latchbolt.

Either knob operates latchbolt (except when outside knob is locked from inside).

Outside knob retained in locked position by rotating turn button 90 degrees to a horizontal position; not released until turn button is manually returned to the vertical position.

Key outside unlocks turn button inside.

Latchbolt is operated by rotating inside knob.

Inside knob is always active.
